For many arts and culture professionals, the idea of personal branding can feel uncomfortable.

What you might not realize is that you already have a personal brand, you just aren't shaping it intentionally.

This 4-week workshop is designed to help you take greater control of your professional reputation without asking you to become an influencer or turn your life into content.

To participate, you do not need an existing audience, established personal brand, or active social media presence!

Instead, we start with you: your goals, expertise, experienecs and interests. We figure out what you want to be known for, who you want to connect with, what you have to contribute, and how your digital presence can support your larger career goals.

Is This Program for You?

"Visible on Purpose" is designed specifically for professionals working across museums, arts, and culture.

It may be a good fit if:

  • You know greater professional presence could benefit your career, but you're not sure where to begin or simply feel pressure to be everywhere online.

  • The idea of "putting yourself out there" or talking about yourself gives you the ick, and you want an approach that feels more natural and sustainable.

  • You have expertise, ideas, and interests to share, but aren't sure what to talk about or how to make your work more visible.

  • You're thinking about your next career move and want people to understand more about your experience, expertise, and perspective than a resume or cover letter can.

  • You want to strengthen your professional network and build a digital presence that actually feels like you.

Arts, Culture, Museums + Non-Profits

Haydn works at the intersection of arts, culture, digital strategy, and professional communication.

His approach to personal branding isn't about chasing visibility for visibility's sake. Instead, he helps professionals articulate their expertise, interests, and perspective in ways that support their larger professional goals.

Visible on Purpose builds on the personal branding and digital leadership training Haydn has delivered for arts and cultural professionals, with a particular focus on expertise, passion points, audience mapping, content strategy, and sustainable visibility.

What This Program Covers:
Four Weeks, Four Focus Areas

Session 1 - October 29 | Reframing Personal Branding

We start with you: What are you known for now? What do you want to be known for? What expertise, experiences, and interests do you want people to associate with your name?

You'll explore your career goals, unique value, passion points, and audiences and begin developing your own personal brand statement.

Session 2 - November 5 | Platforms & Content Strategy

You don't have to be everywhere! We'll look at how platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, Substack, email, and newsletters can serve different professional purposes. We help you develop 3–4 content pillars that connect your expertise and interests to career goals.

Session 3 - November 12 | Content, Engagement & Visibility

We work to build a content and engagement strategy you can actually sustain, including how to create a manageable approach to sharing your expertise. We'll look at content formats, repurposing ideas, realistic posting rhythms, audience development, online networking, and meaningful engagement.

Session 4 - November 19 | From Visibility to Momentum

We'll reflect on what's working, troubleshoot what's getting in your way, and connect your professional visibility to your broader career development.

You'll leave with a 90-day action plan and clear priorities for what comes next.

Registration includes...

  • Four 90-minute live virtual workshops with Haydn and Alli, with room for questions, discussion and reflection

  • On-demand recordings if you can't make every live session

  • Templates + practical resources to build your personal brand statement, platform strategy, content pillars, digital footprint and a 90-day plan

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to be active on social media already?

Nope! The program is specifically designed to help you work out what kind of digital presence makes sense for you.

You don't need an existing audience, content strategy, or established online presence.

What if I don't like posting on social media?

Guess what - you're exactly the kind of person we had in mind when developing the program.

We're not going to tell you that you need to post every day or be everywhere online. The aim is to identify an approach that supports your goals and is realistic for your personality, resources and available time.

Do I have to attend every session live?

We encourage you to attend live whenever possible because discussion and peer reflection are an important part of the program, but each session will be available on demand within 24 hours.

You'll have access to the recordings until February 17, 2027.

Is this only for people looking for a new job?

This program is for anyone and can support professionals who are job searching, but also professional visibility overall helps you strengthen your network, communicate your expertise, develop thought leadership, find speaking or collaboration opportunities, and become more intentional about your longer-term career.

Does this only focus on LinkedIn?

LinkedIn will naturally be part of the conversation, but the program looks more broadly at your professional digital footprint and considers platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, Substack, email, and newsletters.

Can I make my employer pay / Would this count as professional development?

Absolutely! Organizations and institutions can pay for your place through professional-development, training, or career-development budgets. Have them reach out to us for any additional information they may need from us.

How much time should I spend outside the sessions on work?

There will be short pre-work and reflection activities associated with the program. The existing exercises are generally designed to take approximately 20–30 minutes and help you apply the sessions directly to your own professional goals.
